  • Tillbrook Melaleuka Group (TMG) is seeking experienced and passionate Chefs & Cooks. TMG is a multisite family owned company which operates venues including C.Y. O'Connor Village Pub (Piara Waters), Hybla Tavern (Albany), The Byford Tavern (Byford) and The Amberton Beach Bar and Kitchen (Eglinton).

    Our venues have their very own Paddock to Plate concept where you will get to prepare some of Western Australia's finest beef and lamb including Wagyu Beef and Hawthornden Farm Lamb.

    To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have a minimum of a Formal Cookery Qualification plus 2 years qualified experience, or a minimum of 3 years solid cook / chef experience.

    Other required skills and attributes include:
    • Experience with seasonal produce;
    • Consistency in producing high quality food with excellent presentation;
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written;
    • Availability to work a range of shifts including early starts, late finishes and weekends;
    • Ability to work within a team environment and contribute to a high integrity work culture;
    • Confidence in training junior staff members;
    • Excellent organisational skills;
    • A self motivated, reliable professional with strong attention to detail;
    • Someone who thrives working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
    • A demonstrated knowledge of food and hospitality;
    • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
