Situated on the ground floor of Chifley Tower, the 200-seat venue designed by Paul Kelly is a unique fine dining venue committed to providing affordable luxury to the Sydney CBD.
We're currently looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have a relevant qualification (Hospitality or Catering) and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role.
You will also need to demonstrate:
Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g., charcoal oven, commercial oven)
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, specifically charcoal cooking
Ability to remain calm and multitask
Excellent time management abilities
Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes, again with a specific emphasis on charcoal cooking
Familiarity with sanitation regulations
Basic Food Safety & Hygiene Training Certifications
You will be responsible for:
Managing the kitchen on a daily operational basis.
Assist the Head Chef with food specials and new menu items.
Maintain supplier relationships.
Stock count for food and crockery.
Managing portion control and running of the pass.
Carrying out and reporting on kitchen audits.
Assisting with weekly /monthly reports.
Maintaining and managing deputy to assist with rostering.
Control labour & food costs.
This is a full time position with a remuneration package between $80,000 - $90,000.
