Seeking an experienced Production Manager and Mechanical Engineering Technician

Remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000

We are currently have two vacancies we're looking to fill:- Production Manager - Manufacturing
- Mechanical Engineering Technician - MET
Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and hold a relevant qualification.
Duties for the Production Manager role include:- Strategizing production activities considering factors like output quality, quantity, cost, time, and labour
- Monitoring and executing production strategies while analysing production output and expenses to minimise costs
- Coordinating staff activities and keeping other managers informed about production-related matters
- Supervising the procurement and installation of new plant and equipment
- Scheduling maintenance, allocating operational hours, and managing the supply of parts and tools
- Researching, reporting and recording production data
Duties for the Mechanical Engineering Technician role include:- Collaborating with other staff on drafting drawings, plans, and designs for mechanical engineering projects, while also assisting in equipment and plant design
- Oversee assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls, and hydraulic power systems
- Conduct and supervise field and laboratory tests, collect and analyse data, perform complex computations, and create diagrams.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment, estimate material costs, quantities, and machine requirements
The successful applicants will be offered a remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000.
