    • Transport Spares & Equipment Pty Ltd located in Welshpool Perth's is a Leading Supplier of Heavy Truck & Trailer Parts.

    We are seeking qualified Metal Fabricators / Welders to work on semi-trailer construction to join our company located in Welshpool. This is a full-time permanent position.

    This position will include the following duties and responsibilities:
    • Manufacturing of new transport equipment
    • Reading and manufacturing to engineering drawings
    • Welding of steel and aluminium
    • Repairs
    In order to be considered for the position, you will need the following:
    • Strong commitment to quality and safety
    • Be punctual and have a good work ethic
    To be eligible for this role, applicants must have a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

    Candidates must also:
    • Have extensive experience in using MMAW, GMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding processes
    • Have ability to work with a range of metal types and thicknesses
    • Be very experienced in the reading of engineering drawings and welding symbols
    • A forklift licence is an advantage
    • Have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently as required
    The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package between $70,000 - $74,000 (depending on skills and experience).
