Steelworx Engineering are a steel fabrication and piping business located in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. Due to increased demand from our clients within the mining sector, we are looking for Pressure Welders, Welders (First Class), Fitters, and Quantity Surveyors interested in a long term position in a workshop. Must be reliable and willing to take initiative. We take pride in the quality of our workmanship, so attention to detail is essential.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role in a fabrication workshop.
Applicants must also:- Hold a Current Drivers Licence
- Be able to read drawings, work unsupervised, follow OSH rules in the workshop and on client sites
- Be willing to work reasonably required additional hours at times (average hours are 56hrs/week: Mon-Fri 6am-4pm Sat 6am-12pm)
- Have own baseline trade tools
Preferred and desired criteria (not essential):- Pipe fitting experience
- Welding, flux core
- Forklift Ticket
The successful applicants will receive a salary package between $70,000 - $80,000.
