Tillbrook Melaleuka Group (TMG) are seeking ambitious and passionate Senior Chefs (Head/Sous), Chefs & Cooks and Senior Managers (Venue Manager/Assistant Managers/Restaurant Managers) to join our team.
TMG is a multi-site family owned company which operates venues including: C.Y. O'Connor Village Precinct - C.Y. O'Connor Village Pub, The Steak House (coming soon), Tilly's Garden, Paperbark Burger Co. - Piara Waters, Hybla Tavern - Albany, The Byford - Byford, The Amberton Beach Bar and Kitchen - Eglinton and The Wellard - Wellard
The heart of our expanding business, our Melaleuka Farm located in North Dandalup offers our venues their own farm to table experience - you will get to work with Western Australia's finest beef and lamb including Melaleuka Farm wagyu beef and Hawthornden Farm lamb.
Chefs and Cooks - You will need to have:- A minimum of a Formal Cookery Qualification plus 2 years' qualified experience, or a minimum of 3 years' solid cook/chef experience
- Experience with fresh & seasonal produce
- Consistency in producing high quality food with excellent presentation
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Availability to work a range of shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Ability to work within a high-paced team environment and contribute to a high integrity work culture
- Ability to prioritise, organise and work well under pressure
Senior Managers / Restaurant Managers - We are looking for:- Legends that lead from the front and push customer service to new levels
- Sound experience in a similar role within a fast-paced venue
- Excellent and witty communicators with solid food and beverage knowledge
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and honest professionals who are on point with trends - creative and engaging
- Solution seekers who are able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
- Hospitality availability (available to work a range of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends)
- Competence in performing day to day responsibilities - management of FOH staff, education and training of staff, administration, menu consultation and planning, on and off-premise beverage sales, management of reservations and guest enquiries, function and event planning (coordination and delivery), coordination of venue maintenance and improvement, detailed reporting, coordination of stocktakes, adherence to budgets, implementation of OHS guidelines and RSA.
