    THE OPPORTUNITY

    We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic Recruiter to join the business. Working closely with our leadership team on their operational requirements, you will support Recruitment within the business to the best of your ability with the support of your Recruitment Manager.

    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Creation and posting of job adverts
    • Pre-screening resumes and phone screening applicants  
    • Assisting with Hiring Managers to ensure navigation through Recruitment Process
    • Coordinating driving assessments (truck and forklift)
    • Organising and conducting interviews 
    • Conducting onboarding processes:
      - Reference checking
      - Booking medicals 
      - Contract generation
      - Arranging first day inductions, training and welcoming of new employees
    • Implementation and advancement of candidate attraction strategies
    To be successful will have the following experience:

    We are looking for someone with a resilient personality, who understands road transport and warehouse equipment. You will need demonstrated recruitment experience in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment and meet the following criteria:
    • Have excellent customer service and communication skills 
    • Preferably but not essential is a solid understanding of Transport industry requirements and equipment i.e.-
      - Truck Drivers HR / HC / MC - know the gear and can talk the lingo
      - Forklift Operators - know the difference between transport yard and warehouse operators
    • Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
    • Good time management and coordinating skills
