  • The Opportunity

    Sands Fridge Lines are currently seeking an immediate start for a qualified and experienced Customer Liaison Officer. Working within a team environment to ensure the valued relationships between our company and customers is well nurtured and supported. Communicating requirements and needs to the business to ensure we meet and exceed the customers expectation for the business delivery. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager this is an integral role at the forefront of our business. 

    Rotating Roster (2 weeks Early Morning Shift, 2 x weeks Morning Shift):
    • Early Morning Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm
    • Morning Shift - 8:30am - 5:00pm
    The Team

    Our small but dynamic customer service team is headed up by Kate. As a leader she believes in upskilling her people and offering opportunities for professional development. While this team works incredibly hard, they have a lot of fun along the way and love nothing more than "delivering" an exceptional customer experience.

    To be successful, you will have:
    • Experience within the transport and freight industry advantageous
    • Extensive experience within a customer service environment
    • Resilient personality and ability to be adaptable within ever changing environments
    • Clear and concise communication skills demonstrated both verbally and written
    • Ability to be pro-active with your workload and time management
    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers by understanding their needs and being able to gather the necessary information required for the business
    • Provide a high level of customer service using a variety of platforms (emails, telephone etc)
    • Developing of strong relationships both internally and externally
    • Ensure departmental communications and awareness surrounding issues and workflows
    • Resolve customer issues, to create and ensure customer retention within the business
