    • WA Haulage Repairs is one of the leading servicing, repair, and fabrication commercial haulage companies.

    We are currently looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team based in Kewdale.

    To be considered for this position, you will need to hold trade qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and fabrication.

    You will also need:
    • Full unrestricted Australian working rights
    • A comprehensive toolset
    • Full, valid drivers Licence
    • Experience with parts allocation to service reports
    • Experience with Vehicle Fit outs
    • Aluminium welding experience
    • Plasma, MIG and TIG welding experience
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
    You will be responsible for welding and fabrication repairs modifications to road transport equipment. This will include:
    • Fabrication and welding
    • Custom Repairs
    • Manufacture of subframes for cranes and trucks
    • Tipper repairs
    • A Frame Manufacture
    • General trailer repairs and fabrication/trailer refloors / a frame reproduction / suspension repairs /custom modifications
    • Fitting of Tail lifts
    • Working with deadlines
    • Working within budgets
    • Maintaining a safe working area
    • Fit up of skip loaders and hook lifts
    • Parts allocation to service reports
    • Manufacture of custom truck trays
    This is a full time position working Monday -Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm + Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm (and Saturdays if required) 5:00am to 9:00am.
