    • FabWest is a multi-disciplinary design/engineering and fabrication company based in Welshpool, Western Australia.

    We are currently looking to fill the following vacancies:
    • Steel Welder
    • General Fitter
    Steel Welders / Fabricators:
    • Fabricate and weld structural steel assemblies and pressure pipework
    • Stainless steel/mild steel welding (MIG, TIG and Flux-Core)
    • Maintenance repairs
    Mechanical Fitters:
    • Dismantling/reassembling various types of equipment and trouble shooting/repairs
    • Maintenance for water and wastewater infrastructure assets (treatment plants, sewerage networks etc
    • Workshop Plant maintenance and repairs
    To be considered for one of these opportunities, you will need to demonstrate 3+ years previous experience in a similar role.

    You'll also need:
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
    • To be able to read engineering drawings
    • The ability to work autonomously & independently as well as part of a team
    • Knowledge and amalgamation of both imperial & metric measurement systems
    • Use and Knowledge of hand held power & air tools (essential). Basic computer and software knowledge
    • Understanding of Safe Work Practices/Stop Work Instructions
    Remuneration packages will be between $70,000 and $90,000 and will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to our team.
