We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join our team at our New Vehicle Predelivery Centre on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a job for someone who doesn't want to be stuck behind a desk. It is the sort of role that requires someone who is interested in the trade, that's both mechanically minded and customer focused. It is a long-term role that will offer you scope to build a career with the opportunity to advance beyond your starting position.
Reporting to the Predelivery Manager the main responsibility of your role is assisting with the pre-delivery process for all our vehicles, including inspections and accessory fitment, and vehicle cleaning.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:- Confidence using power tools
- High attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and experience preferred (though not essential).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Flexibility with work roster
- A Tasmanian drivers licence is also critical to the success of the incumbent.
