    As we continue to grow and evolve, we're currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Financial Controller, reporting directly to the Finance Director.

    You will be based primarily at Aqualyng ICES in Brisbane, QLD, however you may be required to work at other locations as per operational or business needs dictate.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Analyse financial and performance data, providing reports and recommendations.
    • Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasts and compliance.
    • Manage cash flow and financial projections.
    • Prepare internal reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) aligned with accounting and management reports.
    • Support KPI development, implementation, and monitoring.
    • Identify areas for improvement in financial management and propose solutions to optimise financial performance.
    • Collaborate in strategic planning and setting financial objectives.
    • Ensure financial data integrity and compliance across departments.
    • Promote continuous improvement in financial operations.
    Our ideal applicant is a proactive and organised professional who excels at identifying challenges and opportunities, taking initiative to address them effectively. They should have strong planning and organisational skills, capable of prioritising tasks and anticipating business needs to support various solutions efficiently.

    To be successful in this role you will:
    • Have a solid background in Accounts, with at least 4 years of experience in Finance or Management Control.
    • Hold a relevant Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Display proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge and experience of MYOB is advantageous
