Walagullaby Welding Works have a reputation for delivering high quality work in a timely manner. We provide light to heavy fabrication and repair work to Clermont and the surrounding district.
We are currently on the lookout for a motivated Tradesman/Metal Fabricator to join our Clermont team in a full time role, working 38 hours per week with overtime when required.
Key Responsibilities:- Cut, shape, and fabricate materials according to job requirements
- Maintain and repair various equipment, including machinery from the heavy transport, earthmoving, and farming sectors
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety protocols
Required Qualifications and Experience:- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tradesman/Metal Fabricator
- Certificate III in Engineering - Metal Fabricator Trade
- Expertise in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Thorough knowledge of safety practices and risk management
Additional Skills and Attributes:- Physically fit and capable of handling all types of metals and machinery
- Comfortable using hand tools, welders, oxy-acetylene equipment, plasma cutters, and machine tools
- Forklift experience is a plus
