They require a Business Machine Mechanic to join their team in Townsville City, QLD.
Business Machine Mechanics installs, maintains and repairs electronic business equipment such as multi-function devices, photocopiers, scanners, fax machines and cash registers.
Key responsibilities include:- Conducting regular maintenance checks and scheduling repairs as needed;
- Troubleshooting equipment and diagnosing faulty machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults;
- Implementing preventative maintenance measures to enhance equipment longevity;
- Reassembles, test operates and adjusts equipment;
- Collaborating with other team members and users to enhance system performance procedures to prevent malfunctions;
- Replacing damaged or obsolete components in machinery;
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace;
- Documenting and maintaining records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with an AQF Certificate III or higher qualification and at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
