Sound Auto Electrics Rockingham is an automotive electrical repairer located in Rockingham offering a quality and reliable service. Our trained auto electricians can do all auto electrical repairs & air conditioning regas / repairs to all types of vehicles, light trucks and marine.
We are currently seeking a talented and driven Automotive Electrician to join our team in a full time role, working 38 hours a week.
Applicants must hold an industry relevant AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV including at least one years of on-the-job training, or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Duties and responsibilities include:- Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and electronic components in vehicles, motorbikes, machinery, trailers, campervans and parts thereof.
- Diagnose vehicles to identify electrical faults such as lighting trailer units and other associated issues arising from these units.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals relating to vehicles
- Test electrical systems and components to determine the cause of malfunctions in all vehicles.
- Maintain, repair or replace faulty wiring, switches and other electrical components in a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Install new electrical systems and components in vehicles such as dual battery systems, electric trailer brake units and head units and all related components.
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex electrical issues with vehicles such as a varied range of diagnostic scan tools, multimeter, aircon systems and dc systems
A salary between $70,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
