A new and exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Diagnostic /Repair Technician to join our highly successful service team. This is a rare opportunity to join a leading, national automotive group and perform work across a wide variety of brands.
You will need to demonstrate:- Relevant trade qualifications and experience as a Diagnostic Technician.
- A/C Repair ticket will be highly regarded.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Able to carry out duties in a manner that demonstrates ability to achieve efficiency and quality.
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
- Manual VIC drivers licence is mandatory.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles accurately, within a given time frame, and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.
- Performing diagnostic work accurately according to daily work orders as received.
- Attending and completing training as required.
- Servicing, repairing and reporting all necessary work.
- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.
- Taking all necessary diagnostic steps to ensure the correct operation of vehicles
- Performing general maintenance and servicing as needed.
- Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians.
- Providing high level customer service to the dealership's customers
- Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
