The Drakesbrook Hotel is a 32 room motel 1.5 hrs south of Perth. We cater for approximately 150 people per night consisting of regular in-house guests and the general public
We are currently seeking experienced Sous Chefs/Cooks to join our team in a full time role working 38 hours a week.
Applicants must have a Trade Qualification in the field or at least 2 years previous experience in similar role and industry. They will also be able to work evenings and weekends on a rotating roster
Applicants will be responsible to:- Prepare, arrange, and serve all food according to the set standards
- Prepare mise-en-place, cutting, de-boning, filleting and the cooking of stocks and sauces.
- Prepare food as required, maintain cleanliness and hygiene of section and maintain a high standard of service.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Anticipate and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
A salary between $73,500 - $80,000 pa + Superannuation and overtime will be offered to the successful candidates.
