Our client, based in Alice Springs, is seeking an experienced Plant and Equipment Technician (Metal Machinist) to join their team in a full time role.
Candidates will be responsible for:- Safety - Ensure that you comply with all agreed Safety practices and policies.
- Asset Maintenance - ensure that all company assets are maintained to the highest quality. This will be done through ongoing monitoring / maintenance and scheduled asset replacements via capital request.
- Operations - Assist business by following standardized practices to ensure that a high-quality service is always provided. This will also ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner with the most efficient use of available resources.
- Quality - Conduct all treatments / maintenance programs to best practice industry standards and follow TPC complaints procedures when required.
Applicants must have:- 5 - 10 years' experience in a mechanical or machinist role.
- A proven record in safety system and their implementation in the workplace.
- The ability to maintain an Ochre Card, Criminal History Checks and comply with Drug & Alcohol Policy.
- Effective written & verbal communication & customer service skills to work with key stakeholders, both internal & external
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem solving, planning and analytical skills
- Results focused, with an ability to set goals for self
A salary between $74,000 - $80,000 plus super will be offered to the successful candidate.
