    We are seeking talented and passionate Chefs de Partie to join our team.

    The right candidates will be able to demonstrate an innate ability to work within a team and as a team leader, as well as showcase their skills as a culinary professional. Our concept features a wide array of pub classics and modern cookery, so the right candidate will demonstrate a passion for the product and an interest in high quality casual dining.

    The role
    These are hands-on roles that involve managing and overseeing daily food preparation, as well as leading the staff to ensure compliance with HACCP standards, company policies and procedures. You will be required to work on weekends and successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and be fully qualified. The positions are full time, approximately 45 hours per week with reasonable overtime required.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage kitchen operations and have a high level of understanding, as well as implementation of HACCP compliance.
    • Follow appropriate food handling procedures, ensuring temperature and hygiene control.
    • Quality control of raw and cooked food products to expected standards.
    • Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
    • Prepare and cook food of all types including bulk meal production.
    • Maintain purchasing, receiving and storage standards.
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of chefs and production employees.
    • Serve as a role model to junior chefs by demonstrating appropriate behaviour in the work place.
    Requirements:
    • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and nights.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar environment / position and a relevant qualification.
    • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Ability to lead by example, and train others.
    • Ability to maintain consistent standards at all times.
    • Ability to handle high volume production.
    Remuneration packages from $76,515 to $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
