Westforce Construction was originally established in 2006 primarily as a civil construction contractor. Since then the company has grown and diversified into a multi-disciplined contractor venturing into structural steel fabrication, Precast Concrete Panels fabrication and erection, electrical installation high and low voltage and the design and construct of civil works and commercial buildings.
We are currently looking for a qualified ICT Support and Test Engineer to join our team.
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, your role will be to develop procedures and strategies to support, create, maintain, and manage technical quality assurance processes and guidelines and systems infrastructure. You will also investigate, analyse and resolve system problems and performance issues and test the behaviour, functionality and integrity of systems.
The role will also include, but is not limited to:- Scheduling and conducting quality audit inspections, and analysing and reviewing systems, data, and documentation
- Identifying variations and potential high risk areas in securing adherence to standards and procedures
- Recommending corrective action plans and improvements to users and management in the resolution of non-compliance with standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures
- Communicating, educating and liaising with users and management to adherence to standards and procedures
- Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving system and hardware problems and issues
- Developing, conducting and providing technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures
- Testing, identifying and diagnosing functionality errors and faults in systems, and programming code to ensure systems perform to specification
- Performing organisational systems architecture reviews and assessments, and recommending current and future hardware and software strategies and directions
- Creating and reviewing technical documentation
To be considered for this position, you must have 2+ years' experience in a similar role within the resource and/or IT industry.
Other valuable skills and attributes include:- High level of computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationships
- Ability to use, initiate and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement
- Ability to multi-task and appropriately manage conflicting priorities with high attention to accounts detail is essential
A salary package between $90,000 - $110,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
