Goldfields Auto Spares (GAS) is an outlet for automotive parts, tools, equipment, industrial and mining supplies and associated consumables. The company was established in 1992 and has branches located in both Kalgoorlie and Perth and are well regarded for their ongoing commitment to quality service and competitive pricing for commercial spare parts (both genuine and non-genuine) - in particular, catering to the fast paced and multi-faceted needs of the mining industry.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative (Industrial) to join our team full time at our Kalgoorlie branch. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. You will engage in cold calling, networking, and building relationships with new, current and potential clients.
Skills and Experience required:- At least 2 years' experience in a similar Sales role
- Previous experience building, managing and maintaining relationships with clients
- In depth knowledge of the company's goods and services
- Effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks without supervision
- Superior communication and customer negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and solve customer needs and concerns.
- Prepare and complete regular documentation and reports as needed
- Be a team player in a busy, multi-skilled environment
- Have a friendly and positive attitude and excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt as required
- Maintenance of a high standard of both personal and branch presentation
Essential:- Police Clearance
- D&A Test
Desired:- Mechanical Background
- Previous experience dealing with spare parts, and the mining and exploration industry
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package ($75,000 - $80,000) per annum that will commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
A probation period will apply.
