APMS Operations Australia Pty Ltd are delivering global professional and expert end to end services for Industrial and Commercial Industries.
We are currently looking for skilled Pressure Welders, Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers/Metal Fabricators, and Welders (First Class) to join our Henderson team, with regular site based work.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience as well as a relevant trade qualification.
Additional essential criteria for our candidates include:
Experience working in Sulphuric acid plants in encapsulated suits
All applicants must be able to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test
Ability to work well in a team environment & autonomously
A committed attitude towards HSE
The ability to work at remote acid plants and refineries
Duties may include:
Interpreting plans and drawings to understand project requirements
Preparing and selecting metal materials for fabrication
Cutting and shaping metal parts using tools and machinery
Bending and forming metal components through manual or mechanical methods
Assembling and joining parts
Inspecting and testing welds for accuracy and strength
Smoothing and cleaning welded areas for a quality finish
A salary between $76,515 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
