The Esplanade Hotel, built in 1898, is a well-established family run business in the heart of Busselton. We have a casual and relaxed atmosphere, and are open 7 days a week serving lunch, dinner and functions, with a recently renovated kitchen, and updated bar and bistro area.
We are currently looking for qualified Chefs and Cooks to join our dynamic team.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have at minimum a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, and at least 3 years' experience working in a busy restaurant.
You will be responsible for:- Delegating tasks to kitchen staff.
- Informing wait staff about daily specials.
- Ensuring appealing plate presentation.
- Checking freshness of food and discarding out-of-date items.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assisting the Head Chef in estimating food consumption.
- Training kitchen staff to effectively manage costs, maintaining the recipe standards, and cooking/preparation procedures.
- Maximising the productivity of the staff while supporting them to improve their skill sets.

This is a full time position and will require the flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.
Remuneration packages between $74,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
