Mayfair Enterprises QLD Pty Ltd T/A Climate Air Solutions are looking for a qualified and experienced Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Mackay.
To be considered for this position, you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Trade Certificate or higher qualification, and at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least three years of relevant employment experience as an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Adjusting system controls and reassembling systems;
- Brazing and welding pipes to connect equipment, and checking alignment and accuracy of fit;
- Checking refrigeration & air conditioning systems to diagnose faults and repairing and replacing defective components;
- Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading piping to fit infrastructure;
- Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks, and removing test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps and filling with refrigerant;
- Installing and repairing domestic and commercial HVAC systems;
- Installing and repairing compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water;
- Maintaining works log by recording malfunction causes and action taken;
- Test-operating refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and making adjustments.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
