Indreni Pty Ltd operates three venues across the Sydney metropolitan area, with two located in Rockdale and one in Kogarah. We are currently seeking to fill a full time (38 hours per week) Cook vacancy at one of our Rockdale venues.
Duties include:
Maintaining food quality: Making sure all ingredients are fresh and safe to eat.
Temperature control: Ensuring ovens, grills and other equipment cook food at the right temperature.
Cooking expertise: Preparing and cooking food following proper techniques for safety and authentic taste as per Chef's instructions. Calculating the amount of food needed to serve customers.
Flavour development: Adding seasonings throughout the cooking process for an excellent dining experience.
Plating and presentation: Dividing cooked food into portions, arranging them on plates, and adding finishing touches like sauces and decorations.
Safe storage: Keeping cooked or leftover food at proper temperatures to prevent spoilage.
Dietary needs: Accommodating specific dietary restrictions like allergies or vegetarian preferences.
Team training: Assist the Chef in training kitchen staff .
Applicants must have at minimum a relevant trade qualification (Cert. IV) with 2 years' experience as a Cook. Alternatively, at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.

A salary of $80,000 plus super per year will be offered to the successful candidate.
