EDMC Group are currently seeking experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their team in Wangara in full time positions.
The Diesel Motor Mechanics is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This includes trucks, trailers, earthmoving machinery, and other industrial diesel equipment. The role requires a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, diagnostics systems, and mechanical/electrical systems.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience and hold a relevant trade qualification.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct engine overhauls, brake and clutch repairs, and suspension system work.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and services completed.
- Comply with workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Respond to breakdowns on-site or in the field (if applicable).
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and stored safely.
A salary between $90,000 - $130,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
