About the role
As a Pharmacist at South Hedland Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients in the South Hedland community. This full-time position (working 38 hours a week across 5 days including some weekends) offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and make a real difference to the health outcomes of our patients.
What you'll be doing:- Dispense medication and provide counselling to customers on the safe and effective use of prescription and over-the-counter medications
- Ensure compliance with all relevant WA and Commonwealth pharmaceutical regulations and legislation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient medication use and provide counselling on medication management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in continuing professional development activities to stay informed of industry changes and best practices
What we're looking for:- Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no conditions
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pharmacist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers and the broader community
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to make informed decisions about patient care
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical services
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
