Join the Roadwest Transport Equipment and Sales team in Bayswater
|
RoadWest Transport is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality specialist tipping trailers and transport equipment.
We're currently looking for experienced Engineering Managers to join our team in Bayswater.
Responsibilities will include:- Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate our engineering and technical operations;
- Direct department activities to design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques & overcome quality issues;
- Drafting Office & CAD systems administration - AutoCAD & SolidWorks
- Liaise with the Purchasing & Production departments to meet schedules & deadlines;
- Managing the workflow;
- Overseeing the preparation of detailed job sheets, production drawings & BOMs for the manufacture of Heavy Vehicle bodies and chassis
- Preparation of engineering & cost calculations for new products developed & production jigs & fixtures;
- Working with Customers (when required), Sales & Production teams to clarify specifications, engineer solutions and troubleshoot problems in manufacturing and quality.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 1 year of relevant employment experience OR at least five years of relevant employment experience.
