Iondrive Technologies Pty Ltd require a Chemical Process Engineer to join their team in Adelaide.
Our chemical process engineer will design, implement, and optimize chemical processes for various industries, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance and will work with raw materials to create marketable products, overseeing the entire process from design to operation. This involves tasks like process design, troubleshooting, process control, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process Design and Optimization: Developing and improving chemical processes for manufacturing, including selecting equipment and materials, and optimizing process parameters.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues in chemical processes, often involving equipment malfunctions or off-spec products.
- Process Control: Implementing and maintaining process control systems to ensure consistent product quality and reduce process variation.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensuring processes adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards, minimizing risks and waste.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of process data, procedures, and performance, and preparing reports for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Working with other engineers, technicians, and professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
- Project Management: Leading or contributing to capital projects, including process design, equipment procurement, and construction oversight.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
To be considered you will need to have completed a relevant tertiary qualification, Chemical Engineering preferred, and at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar or related role.
This is a full time role working 38 hours per week, an immediate start is available. An attractive salary is on offer to the successful candidate.
