Critch Automotive Group are currently seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join their team in a full time role in Chinchilla.
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic at Critch Automotive Group - Repco Authorised Service Centre, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide top-notch service to our valued customers.
Duties include:- Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Carry out maintenance tasks including oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections, and more.
- Repair and replace defective parts. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Applicants must have:- Minimum 1 years industry experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or similar role.
- Relevant certificate III or higher
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's license.
A salary between $79,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
