    • We are seeking a qualified Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team, working across a variety of commercial, industrial, and domestic sites.

    Based in Perth, this is a full time role working 38 hours per week.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Tests on transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, and HV cables
    • Perform insulation resistance (IR), polarization index (PI), and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) tests
    • Carry out contact resistance (Ductor) tests on circuit breakers, disconnectors, and busbars
    • Support primary and secondary injection testing
    • Create test plans for protection relay functional testing (e.g., overcurrent, differential, earth fault, distance protection)
    • Carry out HV cable sheath testing, VLF testing, and phase checks
    • Prepare test reports, commissioning documentation, and redline mark-ups
    • Follow test procedures and standards (AS 2067, AS/NZS 3000, IEC, OEM manuals)
    • Attend FATs and SATs as required and assist in site integration testing
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 Years of experience in high voltage testing and commissioning.
    • Minimum 1 Years of experience working on mine sites.
    • Hands-on experience with Omicron equipment
    Additional Skills:
    • High Voltage testing and commissioning.
    • Transformer Testing
    • Switchgear Testing
    • HV Cable Testing
    • Earthing System Testing (Fall of Potential, Step and touch potential measurements)
    • Handson experience with Omicron test equipment like CPC-100, CMC-356, Testrano 600, TD12, CT Analyzer, Insulation Tester, Ductor Tester, etc.
    A remuneration package between $80,000 - $120,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
