Exodrill Pty Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and dependable NDT Technician to join our growing team. As a key member of our operations, you will support the breakdown, inspection, and assembly of drilling valves and oilfield tubular components. This hands-on role involves operating heavy machinery, performing pressure testing, conducting mechanical labour, and ensuring high-quality inspection outcomes. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strict adherence to health and safety protocols are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections in accordance with API, DS1, and NS2 standards
- Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Execute Visual and Ultrasonic Inspections
- Generate detailed inspection reports
- Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing
- Carry out valve make-up and break-out procedures
- Perform function testing on handling equipment
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:- Valid C-Class driver's licence
- Physical ability to perform manual and strenuous tasks
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Proven punctuality and reliability
- Experience in NDT to AS/ASME standards
- ISO 9712 Level II Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Understanding of WH&S, ISO 9001, and ISO 17025 standards
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Preferred Qualifications:- ISO 9712 Level II Certification in:
- Penetrant Testing
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Eddy Current Testing
