  • Applied Pollution Control T/A APCINFRA works with customers to identify, reduce and control air pollution risks. We offer the full range of air pollution management services, including system design and installation, auditing and surveillance, upgrading and optimising, the maintenance and servicing of existing systems together with component, equipment and spare parts sales.

    We're currently looking for an experienced and trade qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Landsdale.

    To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate:
    • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BE) is essential.
    • Strong knowledge in Engineering Management is required.
    • Proven experience in a Steel fabrication (AS 5131, AS/NZS 1554.1 & AS/NZS 1554.6), construction, industrial or related work environment.
    • Knowledge of engineering and fabrication principles and practices, and experience in the practical application of theoretical concepts
    • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
    • Detail and results oriented.
    • Highly organised with excellent time management abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Resilience in a high-pressure environment.
    • Flexible and adaptable to diverse and variable work activities
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
    • Right to work in Australia
    Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
    • Developing and reviewing functional statements, organisational charts and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication
    • Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation
    • Analysing workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs, to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies
    • Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction
    • Developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant construction and systems
    • Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment
    • Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations
    • Carrying out inspections to ensure optimum performance is maintained
    • Directing the maintenance and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules
    A remuneration package between $92,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
