About Us:
Perennial Kitchens / The Kitchen Design Centre is a locally owned and operated manufacturing company with 3 showrooms based across Melbourne. We have been operating for over 33 years from our factory in Bayswater and The Kitchen Design Centre x 3 showrooms in Blackburn, Eltham and Essendon, we specialize in custom made, high quality cabinetry, and pride ourselves with providing exceptional service and value to our clients.
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the construction and assembly of cabinetry and furniture pieces
- Perform various labouring tasks, including sanding, drilling, and material handling
- Work collaboratively with our team of cabinet makers and tradespeople, both in factory and onsite
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Operate hand tools and machinery (training provided)
Requirements:- Previous experience in cabinet making or a related trade is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Truck license (favourable but not essential)
