Established in 1990 Advantage Air is a Perth based Australian developer and manufacturer of air conditioning and home controls products, including MyAir air conditioning controls and MyPlace smart home controls.
They require an SMT Equipment Repair Technician to join their team in Canning Vale, WA.
This unique role will require you to bring your experience to repair and maintain SMT equipment as well as perform general SMT production duties such as QC, hand soldering and hand placement of components.
Key Responsibilities are:- Maintenance: Maintain Nordson Integra Selective Solder machine as per manufacturer specifications. Maintain Mycronic Pick and Place equipment (MY300) as per manufacturer specifications.
- Repair: Repair Nordson Integra Selective Solder machine and Mycronic Pick and Place equipment, and trouble shoot when necessary. Improve output and quality of production on these machines.
- Perform SMT production duties such as, but not limited to Hand placement, Hand soldering, Quality Control inspections and repair of faulty PCB's.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV and 1 year of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Instrument and Control Service Technician with installation, modification, maintenance and repair experience in Nordson Integra selective solder equipment and Mycronic My300 Pick and Place equipment in a manufacturing environment and the ability to read electrical diagrams is preferred but not essential.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $78,000 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
