We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Retail Manager to join our team as Retail Manager, working full time 38 hours a week.
Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar Retail Manager role.
Duties will include:- Daily Store Operations -
- Open and close the store on time. - Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained. - Report to the director - Inventory & Stock Control -
- Monitor and order ingredients, packaging, and supplies. - Manage waste and minimize food cost. - Quality Control -
- Ensure consistency in food preparation, portion sizes, and product presentation. - Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Staff Management:- Staff Scheduling -
- Staff hiring - Create and manage rosters to ensure adequate staffing during peak and non-peak hours. - Approve leaves and manage shift changes. - Training & Supervision -
- Train new staff in food prep, safety, and customer service. - Supervise performance and provide regular feedback. - Team Leadership -
- Motivate the team and maintain a positive work environment. - Resolve conflicts and ensure team cooperation. Financial Responsibilities:- Cash Handling -
- Supervise POS transactions and ensure cash is balanced at end of day. - Deposit cash and maintain daily sales records. - Sales Goals & Targets -
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales. - Work to improve upselling and drive customer loyalty. Customer Service & Communication:- Customer Interaction -
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Resolve customer issues and gather feedback for improvement. - Communication with Head Office -
- Report sales, staff, and operational issues. - Follow all company policies and implement updates. Compliance & Safety:- Food Safety Compliance -
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Conduct regular checks and keep documentation updated. - Equipment Maintenance -
- Ensure all kitchen and POS equipment is functioning. - Report and coordinate repairs if needed. A salary between $80,000 - $84,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
