An opportunity has become available for a Factory Hand to join our team in Moolap, Geelong.
We're looking for someone who is reliable and punctual with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
You will be responsible for assisting in the production process by operating machinery, assembling products, packing items, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Preferably you'll have warehouse and assembly experience, however this is not essential as full training is provided.
Key skills and experience:
Hand and power tool knowledge
Willingness to learn new tasks and perform at a high standard
Welding experience will be highly regarded
An eye to detail and quality
Ability to work autonomously once tasks are understood
Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace
Understanding of general assembly and process behind folding and cutting sheet metals
The ability to follow directions
Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal
A strong commitment to health and safety
This is a full time position working 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am - 1:30pm Friday.
A remuneration package will be offered based on the skills and experience of the successful candidates.
