Sunny Social is an independently owned and operated venue with a commitment to excellent hospitality and exceptional customer service. Based at Hamersley Park Golf Club & open since December 2024, Sunny Social is a multi-faceted venue including a cafe kiosk; bar, function space, indoor & alfresco dining. We have a play area for the little ones & an outdoor events space, Tuart Estate, that can accommodate up to 200 patrons in a cocktail setting. While Caddys Pizzeria is a food & beverage outlet that services the driving range & can play host to individuals, social or corporate groups looking for a fun activity that's different to the norm. The Role As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the crew in this fast-paced and fun environment. We take pride in having a team of leaders who are passionate about what they do and who they do it with!
We're looking for someone who is hardworking and confident who can ensure our guests always feel welcome with an exceptional experience on every visit. Reporting to the Venue Manager and working alongside a team of driven and hardworking co-workers, we'll provide the training and support required so you can learn, develop and have fun while doing it.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:- Current RSA and Approved Managers Card
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the industry
- Experience working in bar/tavern venues
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Work with senior management on business performance, forecasting, P&L's
- Work with the Head Chef & VM in relation to menu construction & execution
- Work with the VM on recruitment & retention strategies & structured training of staff
- Work with the Functions & Events team to deliver & execute bookings building up to & on the day
- Handling general reservations & hosting the floor during periods of high trade
- Conducting market research & obtaining customer feedback in line with business requirements
- Ordering beverage & consumable stock in line with spending targets
- Understanding of workplace OHS & Environmental Health requirements
- Passion for driving the business forward with creative ideas and input for growth
The Benefits:- Full-time salaried position offering $74,000 - $80,000 per year
