Structured Tax and Accounting Professional Pty Ltd T/A Structured Tax is currently seeking a skilled and detail oriented Accountant to join their Lane Cove team in a full time role, working 38 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Preparing accurate financial statements and management reports including balance sheets, income statements (profit and loss), and cash flow statements for clients.
- Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
- Assist clients in conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits.
- Provide advice on accounting software systems to enhance accuracy, reporting, and efficiency to clients.
- Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations to clients.
- Assisting clients in examining operating costs and formulating budgetary and accounting policies
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and have a minimum 2-3 years' experience in professional accounting roles (public practice or corporate). CPA/CA qualifications are desirable.

- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.

You'll be working in a professional office environment with a small, supportive team that values collaboration, accuracy, and excellent client service. The role involves using standard office technology along with accounting and tax software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and workflow systems for compliance and client records. Professional business attire is expected, and you'll report directly to a Manager or Principal.
A salary between $77,000 - $78,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
