Awadesh Group of Restaurants Pty Ltd is looking to fill a Cook vacancy in their team. There are 2 (two) positions available and the role will involve working 38 hours per week over 5-6 days, based in Tamborine Mountain, QLD 4272.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Preparing and cooking food
- Seasoning food during cooking
- Portioning food, plating, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- May plan menus and estimate food requirements
- May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
Applicants must hold an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3). At least 12 months of post-qualification experience is required.
A salary of $76,515 + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidates.
