We're on the lookout for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our high-performing team at our modern Maddington workshop.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, no FIFO - you'll be home every night!
Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty commercial trucks
Overhauls and repairs of diesel engine components (fuel systems, emission controls)
Driveline fault diagnostics and repairs (gearboxes, clutches, differentials)
Testing and replacing faulty parts to manufacturer specs
Maintaining accurate job records and reporting on vehicle condition
Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth workshop operations
To be considered for this position, you will need to be a Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic with 5+ years' experience working on commercial trucks. Experience with Cummins engines is highly regarded.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
Current Australian driver's licence (HR licence desirable but not essential)
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work independently
