Allroads Transport Engineers is a locally owned and operated business specialising in the custom building of Grain Tippers, Side Tippers, Walking Floor Trailers, Dollies, etc.
Allroads is experiencing a high demand for our trailers and have exciting opportunities to expand the team.
We are seeking qualified Welders / Metal Fabricators and Fitters to join our team.
Welder / Metal Fabricator - Tasks include a vast variety of welding, fabrication, repairs, and modifications on large Semi Trailer chassis & bowls etc.
To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a relevant qualification, and have 2+ years' previous experience working in a similar role.
Fitters - Responsibilities will include:- Assemble and fit components to build new semi-trailers in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Install suspension systems, axles, brake systems, and other undercarriage components.
- Fit and align chassis, body panels, guards, and coupling systems.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all builds meet safety and manufacturing standards.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Identify and report any defects, inaccuracies, or issues in components or assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with WHS policies.
- Assist in fitting accessories or custom options as specified by client orders.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment used in the fitting process.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in trailer assembly, heavy vehicle manufacturing, or a similar mechanical/engineering environment .

Located in Albany, our workshop has twelve large bays and is fully equipped with overhead cranes, presses, punch and shear machines, bandsaws, guillotines, and welding machines to suit all purposes. We also have a down-draft spray booth sand-blasting facility onsite.
Remuneration packages between $76,515 - $88,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
