    About the Role

    We are seeking two reliable and experienced Engineering Production Workers to perform the tasks of a cotton ginner operator to join our production team in Warren and Trangie. The successful applicants will be responsible for operating and maintaining cotton ginning machinery involving some electrical maintenance and associated plant equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality cotton processing during the ginning season and related maintenance periods.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate, monitor, and adjust ginning and lint cleaning equipment to ensure consistent production flow.
    • Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, and minor repairs on plant and machinery.
    • Assist in machinery setup, calibration, and seasonal preparation.
    • Monitor cotton quality, bale weights, and equipment performance during operation.
    • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
    • Follow strict workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to a clean and safe work environment.
    • Work as part of a diverse team to meet production targets and deadlines.
    Skills and Experience

    To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
    • Previous experience working in cotton ginning, agricultural processing, or a similar industrial production environment.
    • Understanding of mechanical or electrical systems relevant to production machinery.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment maintenance.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Commitment to safe work practices and operational efficiency.
    Formal trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a mechanical or production-related field will be highly regarded.
