C2 Architects Pty Ltd, based in Heidelberg West, Melbourne, are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join their team in a full time role.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson and hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
Key Responsibilities:- Support architectural and consultant teams in the planning, coordination, and delivery of design and documentation for construction projects.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, building codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure design and documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Produce and update architectural documentation, including concept layouts, detailed plans, elevations, sections, and schedules in accordance with project standards.
- Prepare and refine site plans, floor layouts, and technical details to support development applications and construction documentation.
- Assist with project scheduling, documentation issue tracking, and coordination of consultant information to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Review shop drawings and material selections to verify compliance with architectural intent and quality standards.
- Assist in preparing cost plan support documentation and contribute to design development to meet project budgets and timelines.
- Collect and record site data, including existing conditions and service locations, using site measurements, photographs, and survey information.
- Carry out basic area, quantity, and compliance calculations and assist in preparing preliminary design reports, diagrams, or layouts based on site findings.
A salary between $75,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
