Auzus Hair and Beauty is a busy, modern salon located in the Paradise Centre, Surfers Paradise. The team consists of approximately seven experienced stylists and beauty therapists who foster a friendly and supportive work culture. We are currently seeking an experienced Hairdresser / Stylist to join the team in a full time role.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, creative and customer‑focused, with a genuine passion for hair styling and beauty. They should be eager to stay on top of fashion trends and committed to continuous professional development.
Applicants must also have:- Australian Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent).
- At least two years of experience working as a professional hairdresser or stylist.
- Proven expertise in hair cutting, colouring, chemical treatments and hair extensions.
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, waxing and other beauty treatments is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, trimming, colouring, highlighting, perming and styling in line with client requests and current trends.
- Perform salon treatments offered by Auzus Hair and Beauty such as hair extensions, hair treatments and hair colouring, ensuring high‑quality results.
- Offer basic beauty services where required, including eyelash and eyebrow treatments, waxing and threading.
- Conduct personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable hair care and beauty products.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards by cleaning and sanitising tools, workstations and salon areas.
- Keep up to date with new techniques and trends across hair and beauty services offered by the salon.
- Promote salon services and retail products to clients and support cross‑selling of treatment packages.
- Manage client bookings and record services provided using salon management software.
- Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices to develop their skills.

Flexible rosters are available for the right candidate; however, availability on weekends and during extended trading hours is essential.
A salary of $76,515 will be offered to the successful candidate.
