Chatterbox Café is a local favourite in Werribee, known for our great coffee, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. We're on the lookout for an experienced and skilled Barista to join our team.
This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) with consistent hours and great team culture in a well-loved local café.
You'll be part of a close-knit team of four, working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with a strong emphasis on quality and consistency.
Duties include:- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based drinks
- Operating coffee equipment correctly (including grinder, espresso machine and other tools)
- Dialling in coffee to maintain flavour and consistency
- Texturing milk and creating strong latte art
- Taking orders accurately and processing payments
- Providing friendly, attentive customer service
We are looking for someone who demonstrates:- Proven experience operating commercial espresso machines and grinders (we use a Sanremo coffee machine)
- The ability to dial in coffee and adjust to changing conditions
- Strong latte art and excellent milk texturing skills
- A genuine love for coffee and hospitality
- A friendly, approachable and positive attitude
- A focus on quality, teamwork and customer experience
