We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the Kapture team - capturing memorable moments across WA schools.
This is a casual position working up to 5 days a week during school terms, with full-time opportunities available for proven candidates.
Who are Kapture?
Kapture Photography is WA's largest independent school photography company. We've been capturing smiles, squints, chaos, and character in WA schools for 20+ years - and we don't plan on stopping.
We're not your typical photography & production crew. We're creative, curious and collaborative. We get stuff done, delivering exceptional quality whilst keeping the process vibrant and refreshing - for schools, families, and ourselves.
This isn't just a job - it's an opportunity to capture moments that matter. From kindy kids to towering teens, small quirky groups to huge formal ones, and even stunning drone photography and marketing imagery for school websites and publications - you could be doing it all. We'll mentor you, support you and give you the tools to shine.
The Role:- Casual position during school terms (up to 5 days per week). There is potential for full time positions for the right candidate.

- Occasional regional WA travel and overnight stays
While photography experience is an advantage, your values and attitude speak louder still. At Kapture, we aim to ensure our behaviours reflect our core values such as; Integrity, Unity, Teamwork, Flexibility, Resilience. During the selection process you will be assessed on your ability to fulfil the responsibilities of this position whilst upholding our values.
What You'll Need:- Availability for a minimum of three full weekdays (Monday - Friday). This is highly essential
- Ability to start as early as 6:00am and work up to 5:00pm as needed
- Basic technical knowledge of cameras and photographic equipment
- Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new software applications (Adobe Suite experience is favourable, specifically Photoshop)
- Previous experience in school photography preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work effectively with children and create a positive, engaging environment
- Physical fitness to carry and set up photographic equipment
- Experience working in high-volume imaging workflows is favourable, be it school photography or similar
- A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
- Working with Children Card (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Availability for interviews week commencing Monday 19 January 2026 to commence training Monday 2nd February 2026.
