Salary: Base Salary $77,000 - $81,000 plus Super based on experience

Our client is renowned for delivering an exceptional catering experience for corporate functions, private parties, weddings, and special events. We deliver exceptional experiences and event catering across a portfolio of event venues, cafes, and restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

We are looking for passionate chefs to fit in one of our Melbourne venue and who wants to be part of something special, keen to learn and move up the ranks. This position Supervises other kitchen employees in the venue and is able to run a section or sections with minimal supervision.

About the Role:

Plans and develops menus to suit the restaurant's style and customer needs.
Prepares and cooks food to a high standard of taste and presentation.
Supervises and coordinates kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
Ensures all food handling, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
Manages stock levels and orders ingredients to keep the kitchen well supplied.

We will expect:

Minimum Diploma in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management
2-3 years of relevant work experience
Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
