    We're currently looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Caringbah, NSW.

    About The Role

    To provide leadership and direction to the production/engineering personnel. To be available to complete any production extrusion design/equipment/planning and troubleshooting task development requirements.

    Complete all die setting tasks and operate all extrusion machines effectively to their optimum efficiency levels (kilograms per hour), utilizing continuous improvement methods. Implement routine preventative/maintenance task requirements for all extrusion machines.

    Tasks Include:
    • Confer with clients about product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projects.
    • Design control systems to minimize costs and to coordinate activities, and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standards and reduce waste.
    • Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
    • Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient.
    • Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
    • Developing design and production standards in cooperation with customers and management to develop standards for design and production.
    • Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
    • Figure out how to manufacture parts or products or deliver services with maximum efficiency.
    • Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
    • Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
    • Review production schedules, processes, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand manufacturing and service methods and activities.
    • Support safety performance of the manufacturing area through the design of ergonomic solutions for the different operations as well as for material handling.
    To be considered you will need a relevant and recognised degree qualification and a minimum of two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience. You'll also need strong organizational skills and disciplined attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment and within a team.

    This is a full time role, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $90,000 - $105,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
