Australian Plastic Profiles require a Production Engineer to join their team in Caringbah, NSW.
About The Role
To provide leadership and direction to the production engineering personnel. To contribute to die engineering, development and evaluation processes. To provide ongoing process analysis and development.
Duties include:- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring that production goals are met while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Oversee the production team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
- Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
- Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement, optimizing the use of materials, machinery, and labour to reduce waste and costs.
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure that production processes align with overall company goals.
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance production efficiency and product quality through innovative solutions and process improvements.
To be considered you will need:- A relevant or related engineering degree qualification and a minimum of one year of relevant employment experience.
- Strong organizational skills and disciplined attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment and within a team.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $85,000 - $100,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
